This traditional Hong Kong wedding kicked off with some fun and challenging games for the groom and the groomsmen followed by a respectful tea ceremony for the elders. The bride wore a beautiful couture qipao made by celebrated Hong Kong designer, Barney Cheng. In the evening, over 600 guests arrived for the cocktail reception and dinner banquet at InterContinental Hong Kong, entering from the sweeping marble staircase decorated to with trees and greenery bringing the outdoors in. During the ten course meal, guests were entertained by a live jazz band and eloquent speeches as well as a video of the couple’s destination wedding where they exchanged vows on a white sandy beach with a handful of close friends. A dessert bar and a specialty gin corner coupled with mood lighting and a great DJ transformed the space into an after-party venue for the few hundred party-goers that stayed on to party until the early hours of the evening.
